|Update from our President, Simon Mair: |
In preparation for the upcoming dressage day, the KGPC grounds will be closed on Saturday 29th to allow time for our awesome volunteers to safely set up the arenas. We have removed this booking from our booking page and sorry for any inconvenience.
If you have not yet volunteered for a job on the dressage day, it’s not too late. Please go to our Volunteer page to nominate yourself for a role, more helpers will make for a great event.
To keep our car park safe we will only be allowing judges vehicles and floats into the grounds and all passenger vehicles will be directed to park on the western side of the road alongside the property. There is also scope for our members willing to park their float on the cross country course (weather permitting) to create more room for visitors to park safely in our car park. There will be room for up to 10 small floats which can be accessed via the driveway between ring one and two.
Finally, you will have noticed the recent COVID development and advice issued by the Victorian State Government. The dressage day and pony club are considered sporting activities and it is the position the committee that the event can proceed as planned providing there are no further lock-down announcements. As per our COVID plan, only essential helpers should attend the day and everyone will be expected to maintain social distancing, check-in via the QR code and wear a mask when in the clubrooms. Pencillers, gear checkers and canteen staff will all need to wear masks.
